How does Cinamycin Plus Gel work?

A combination of Clindamycin and Tretinoin, treating acne. Clindamycin kills acne-causing bacteria, and Tretinoin reduces skin oil production, replenishes the skin, and keeps pores open.

Indications:

• Cinamycin Plus is a combination of two medicines used to treat acne. It works by attacking the germs causing acne and rejuvenating sun-damaged skin. For external use only.

Pharmacology

• Clindamycin: Antibacterial; interferes with bacterial protein synthesis.
• Tretinoin: Reduces microcomedo formation, and increases cell turnover.

Dosage & Administration of Cinamycin Plus Gel

Apply a pea-sized amount of gel once daily, preferably at bedtime. Treatment should continue for 12 weeks. For external use only. Clean and dry the affected area before applying a thin layer of the gel. Avoid contact with eyes, nose, or mouth.

Interaction

Clindamycin may enhance neuromuscular blocking agents. Tretinoin may increase the absorption of minoxidil and photosensitivity with various medications.

Hypersensitivity to clindamycin, tretinoin, or any ingredients.
